Subject : Marie Janson was the first woman to sit in the Belgian Senate. She was sworn in as a co-opted senator in 1921, making her the very first woman in the Belgian Parliament.
On the occasion of this centenary, the Senate is organising an exhibition on 100 years of women in the Senate and in Belgian politics.
Mission : On the initiative of Madame President Stéphanie d’Hoze, we were chosen to develop the scenography and graphic design for the exhibition that was held in the Senate.
Our intention was to respond in harmony with the place and the spirit of the subject. Through the scenography we try to reinforce the message and to bring an attractive, modern and innovative visual, in the image of the Senate.
